Turning Bopo on in Safari
On iPhone and iPad, open Settings › Apps › Safari › Extensions › Bopo, turn it on and allow it on all websites. On the Mac, open Safari › Settings › Extensions and select Bopo. Then tap the Bopo button in Safari's toolbar and switch on Show Zhuyin.
A reading looks wrong
Bopo uses Taiwanese Mandarin readings, which sometimes differ from everyday speech. If a reading looks wrong, send me the word and the page or sentence it was in, and I'll look at it.
A site misbehaves with Bopo on
Turn Bopo off for that site from the toolbar button, and let me know the address and what happened. Please include your device and your iOS or macOS version.
iCloud across devices
Your saved words and some settings sync through your personal iCloud. If your words aren't showing on both devices, check that both are signed into the same Apple Account with iCloud turned on, and open Bopo on each so it can catch up. You can also use Bopo without iCloud. Your data stays on each device.
Purchases, restores, and refunds
Bopo Plus is a one-time purchase through Apple with no subscription. To restore it on a new device, open Settings › Bopo Plus in the app and tap Restore purchase. For a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.
